A charming home away from home, with jaw-dropping views. Positive: We mostly appreciated that this is a hosted vacation rental; meaning there is a permanent resident in the main house. As we visited businesses in Sedona we learned very quickly that vacation rentals are despised by locals for the extent that long-term rental units have been taken off the market. Airbnb, and the like, are not well received in many places we visit. The location and view from the unit are incredible. Parking was easy and always available. Our host, Linden, was a delight. We really enjoyed talking with her, and she was very respectful of our privacy. Negative: The one suggestion would be to reverse the refrigerator door swing. In tight studio quarters the in-correct door swing took away floor space and encroached into the dining area to open the frig. We managed, but It was very awkward and could be easily corrected. I almost offered to fix it myself, but I didn't have tools and it's not my place. Other than that, the unit was very comfortable, well appointed, and easy to feel at home. I was initially concerned about using the portable single burner cooktop, but it turned out I enjoyed being creative in preparing single pan breakfasts. It was fine in a "Necessity is the mother of invention" way!!! I might have used a gas grill if there was one on the patio.

This view is absolutely amazing if you stay in Sedona! The property is super close to a lot of fun shopping and restaurants in the area, which we took advantage of. The owner of the property was very communicative and friendly, we even ran into her on the way out when we were leaving and had a great conversation with her! The pictures are exactly what it looks like when you stay there. Would absolutely recommend to anyone staying in Sedona!

Positive: Beautiful view from inside the room and the patio. Well stocked kitchen made for a nice relaxing breakfast. Great location within walking distance to uptown shops and restaurants. Negative: The bed had indents and it would be nice to sleep on a flat mattress.
